There are over 2000 verses in the Holy Bible that
address money and concerns with possessions. Turn to Scripture to re-prioritize your attitude towards money and material
possessions! Here are a few thought-provoking verses to get you started:
...he who gathers money little by little
makes it grow. (Proverbs 13:8)
Owe no one anything except to love one another, for he who loves another has fulfilled
the law. (Romans 13:8)
...the borrower is servant to the lender. (Proverbs 22:7)
The plans of the diligent
lead to profit as surely as haste leads to poverty. (Proverbs 21:5)
...they followed worthless idols and themselves
became worthless. (II Kings 17:15)
If you lack the means to pay, your very bed will be snatched from under you. (Proverbs
22:27)

STEPS TO SUCCESSFUL FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT
1)
Eliminate all high interest debt
2) Keep one month's living expenses in a checking account
3) Keep a minimum
of three months', preferably six months', living expenses in a Money Market Fund.
4) Save for (rather than finance)
major purchases. Earmark the savings for these purchases in your Money Market Fund.
5) Invest to meet long-term goals.
IRA's, 401-K's, real estate, and/or Growth Funds should be considered.
Let all things be done decently and in
order. (I Corinthians 14:40)
